Recruiting for: Accounts & Tax Manager

Full Time or Part Time

Office: St Ives, Chatteris or Peterborough

Hybrid working available: Yes – minimum 2 days a week in the office.

Duties:

• Preparing accounts for a range of businesses including limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole trades.
• Preparation of the accompanying tax computations and returns – corporate and personal.
• Assisting with the development of trainees, including reviewing their work and providing feedback
• Liaising directly with clients to clear queries
• Liaising with third parties such as HMRC
• Adhering to internal and statutory deadlines
• Working closely with managers and other team members
• Assisting with tax planning strategies

Desired experience/Qualifications/Qualities:

• ICAEW/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience to a similar level.
• 3+ years’ experience in practice
• The above experience must include the preparation of both accounts and tax returns for both unincorporated and incorporated businesses.
• Experience managing a portfolio and being the first point of contact for your clients.
• Experience with the CCH software package is ideal but not required.
• Able to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently.
